My Story

I didn’t wind up here by accident.

For a long time, it felt like my body was working against me. Looking back now, I can see something very different: I didn’t have “many different problems.” I had one sensitive, intelligent body responding to its environment.
My health journey began early. Around age ten, I started struggling with my weight, eating what was considered completely normal at the time—a standard American diet of sugary cereals, Pop-Tarts, bagels, fluffernutter sandwiches, candy, and chips. No one told us this food might affect our hormones, our nervous systems, or our relationship with our bodies.
As I entered puberty—during the height of early-2000s diet culture—I began to internalize shame. That quickly turned into body image struggles, restrictive behaviors, and disordered eating patterns that followed me for the next fifteen years. Food became something to control, fear, and override instead of something that supported me.
But this was only one layer of the story.
When I was seven years old, I was diagnosed with ADHD—something that was still relatively rare for girls at the time. Growing up neurodivergent meant living with constant brain fog, overwhelm, emotional sensitivity, and a deep sense of being misunderstood. I knew what it felt like to want to function differently, to feel clear and capable, but not know how. I know firsthand what it’s like to live under a heavy mental cloud that makes even simple things feel exhausting.
What I didn’t realize then was that my neurodiversity would become one of my greatest strengths.
It gave me deep empathy, an ability to recognize patterns, and a way of thinking that connects dots others often miss. These are the same skills required to understand chronic health issues—symptom constellations, root causes, and complex systems that don’t fit neatly into boxes.
As I began changing my diet and lifestyle—not through restriction or quick fixes, but through nourishment, regulation, and support—something remarkable happened. The brain fog I had lived with for as long as I could remember lifted. And it didn’t come back.
I didn’t “grow out” of ADHD. I still live with neurodiversity. But I no longer live with the debilitating symptoms that once defined my days. I learned that my body and brain are highly sensitive to certain chemicals found in ultra-processed foods and products—and when those inputs are removed, my nervous system regulates, my mind becomes clear, and my emotional world steadies.
My body wasn’t broken. It was communicating.
And I was finally learning how to listen.
In my twenties, my health challenges expanded. I developed severe cystic acne, hormone imbalances, a PCOS diagnosis, and significant gut issues. Once again, it felt like my body was betraying me. But this time, I understood something I hadn’t before: these weren’t separate problems. They were different expressions of the same imbalance.
By adjusting my lifestyle and nutrition in a sustainable, supportive way, I regulated my hormones, healed my cystic acne without medication, and restored my digestion. Not temporarily. Not with band-aids. But through true healing that addressed the root causes and created lasting change.
This is what my body was teaching me all along: when you support the system consistently, it responds.
That’s why this work isn’t about perfection. It’s about learning how to live in a way that your body can trust. Over time, these habits stop feeling like effort and start feeling like who you are. Today, it’s second nature for me to nourish myself, support my nervous system, and live in alignment with what my body needs. I feel clear, grounded, and vibrant—and I want that for you.
If you’ve struggled with body image or restrictive eating, ADHD or cognitive overwhelm, emotional dysregulation, gut issues, skin concerns, or the feeling that your body is “too sensitive”—I see you. I’ve been there.
I understand complex, sensitive systems—because I am one.
And this is why I’m uniquely equipped to help you.
I’ve walked this path myself, learning how to listen to my body instead of fighting it. And I’m here to help you do the same.

Hi, I’m Audrey, a registered dietitian offering grounded, personalized nutrition support.

I work with people who are tired of conflicting nutrition advice and want support that actually fits their body, life, and health goals. Drawing on over a decade of experience, my approach blends evidence-based nutrition with a holistic, whole-body perspective — because food doesn’t exist in isolation from stress, digestion, or daily life.

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from Florida State University. I worked as a lead nutritionist at NYU Langone for several years. I spent several years as a lead nutritionist at NYU Langone, and have consulted for supplement companies and large consumer health brands. I’ve also written cookbooks and nutrition programs for health influencers. My favorite setting is to work privately with clients— where I build meaningful, goal-oriented relationships that lead to lasting change.

Outside of client work, I’m an apprenticing yoga teacher and a lifelong student of holistic health. I’m studying herbal medicine and am deeply interested in how movement, breath, and nervous system regulation intersect with nutrition and wellbeing.

I love travel and have lived abroad in three different countries, experiences that have shaped how I think about food, culture, and health. I’m happiest outdoors, surrounded by nature.  These interests naturally inform how I show up in my work — curious, grounded, and attentive to the full human experience.

I currently see clients virtually and accept insurance to help make nutrition care more accessible. I also offer self-pay sessions and ongoing support options.
